The National Association of Letter Carriers did its part to address food insecurity.

For the 32nd year, letter carriers participated in the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

Each year, members of the community are asked to leave non-perishable food items at their mailbox. Local letter carriers and volunteers then collect those donations, and deliver them to seven of the Second Harvest Food Bank's drop off locations.

Each donation will go a long way in helping to address hunger in our region.

Last year, the event helped collect 81 thousand pounds of food.
