Multiple Millcreek Township fire departments were called to put out a fire on Lakefront Dr. on Sunday evening.
It was in a challenging area to access, but smoke could be seen streaming from the residence as firefighters worked to knock the flames down.
The call came in for the area of Sycamore and Blackstone Dr. The lakefront home is located west of Waldameer and the Kelso Beach area.
All Millcreek companies assisted—West Lake, West Ridge, Millcreek, Kearsarge and Belle Valley. It took about an hour to get the fire under control.
There is no word yet on a cause or if anyone was home when the fire broke out.
