The Spring Creek Cemetery is the final resting place for Corporal Glenn Hodak. 

He died serving his Country in 1945.

The service at the Free Methodist Church in Youngsville, Pa. was filled with emotion.

His nephew, Dennis Hodak spoke on behalf the immediate family and delivered a passionate farewell.

Hodak served as a tail gunner Aircrew member on board a B-29 Super Fortress, which was shot down on a mission to Tokyo, Japan.

He was reported Missing in Action.

A firestorm consumed the Tokyo Military Prison, killing all U.S. P.O.W.'s incarcerated there.

In March and April of 2022, all associated Unknowns were exhumed.

Corporal Hodak was identified on September 25, 2024.

His remains are the first to be identified.

Three of his brothers all served during WWII the same time as Glenn.
