The Bald Eagle Nest at U.S. Steel's Irvin Plant in West Mifflin, Pa. was established in 2019.
That's when the Eagles, named "Irvin" and "Claire" after the plant facilities, began building their nest.
The nest has been a focal point for birdwatchers and visitors from across the Commonwealth.
The nest is located along the Monongahela River and has been the subject of a live webcam, capturing the Eagles growth and behavior.
Interest extends far beyond Pennsylvania.
Over 31,000 subscribers to the webcam feed have joined the Steel City Eagles Facebook page.
