Pennsylvania State Police released details and reports from the Memorial Day weekend.

Between May 23 and May 26, State Police investigated 756 crashes across the commonwealth.

140 people were injured in those crashes and five people died as a result. 57 of the crashes involved drinking and driving and two of them were fatal. 

Troopers arrested 519 people for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Lastly, Pennsylvania State Police issued 27,139 citations. They include: 7,033 for speeding, 977 for not wearing a seat belt and 166 for not having children buckled in properly.
