Erie’s Wild Rib Cook Off is officially underway in downtown Erie, drawing crowds with the promise of mouthwatering barbecue and lively entertainment. The festival began at 11 a.m. Wednesday after crews worked to set up the event.

From Wednesday through Saturday, visitors can feast on a variety of barbecue favorites, including ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and chicken, along with classic sides like mac and cheese and potato salad.

Live music is also on the menu. Wednesday at 4 p.m., Cookie will perform on the Perry Square stage, followed by M-K Fischer and Frontier at 7 p.m.

The Rib Fest runs daily through Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., offering plenty of time for locals and visitors alike to enjoy the festivities.
