The Pennsylvania Solar Center will present its annual Lodestar Award to 18 organizations from across the state during a virtual ceremony on Thursday, June 5th, from 4:00 to 5:30 PM.

The award recognizes entities that have made significant investments in solar energy, helping lead the transition to clean, renewable power.

Honorees include a wide range of businesses, schools, nonprofits, and religious institutions:

   •Aero Corporation (Dauphin County)

   •Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania – Succop Nature Park (Butler County)

   •Centre County Recycling and Refuse Authority (Centre County)

   •Clinic for Special Children (Lancaster County)

   •Delmont Library (Westmoreland County)

   •Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (Statewide)

   •East Vandergrift Borough (Westmoreland County)

   •Hess Brothers Fruit Company (Lancaster County)

   •Marsh Run Farm (Franklin County)

   •Messick's Farm Equipment (Lancaster County)

   •Moniteau School District (Butler County)

   •NEPA Youth Shelter (Lackawanna County)

   •New York Blower Company (Lawrence County)

   •PA Trolley Museum (Washington County)

   •Solomon's United Church of Christ (Franklin County)

   •University Mennonite Church (Centre County)

   •University of Pittsburgh (Allegheny County)

   •Weaver's Way Co-op (Philadelphia County)

Speakers will include Cindy Dunn, Secretary of the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, and Sharon Pillar, Executive Director of the PA Solar Center.
