The Erie Zoo invites families to gear up for one of its most popular annual events, Equipment Day, returning this Saturday, June 7th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The family-friendly event features a variety of large trucks, tractors, and construction equipment for kids to explore, climb aboard, and photograph.

“Equipment Day is always a highlight of our summer season,” said Erie Zoo President and CEO Roo Kojancie.

Activities are included with Zoo admission or membership, and the event runs rain or shine.

While many machines are hands-on, safety and parental discretion are encouraged.

Guests can also enjoy the Zoo’s exhibits and the Glow Wild lanterns, which remain on display and illuminated nightly Thursday through Sunday until June 15th.
