Diver’s World Marks 50 Years in Erie with Community Celebration
Diver’s World, Erie’s full-service scuba shop and training center, is celebrating 50 years of serving the local diving community with a family-friendly anniversary event on Saturday, June 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1111 Greengarden Blvd.
The celebration will feature live music, local food trucks, refreshments, raffle prizes, and special in-store promotions, along with a visit from the Erie Fire Department’s new water rescue truck.
“Over the past 50 years, we’ve trained everyone from beginners to public safety teams, explored shipwrecks in Lake Erie, and led global dive trips,” said Nicole Tupek, owner of Diver’s World. “This event is our way of saying thank you to the community that’s supported us every step of the way.”
Since 1975, Diver’s World has certified thousands of divers and built a reputation as a cornerstone of Erie’s outdoor adventure scene.
