The Great American Book Sale Returns June 15–20 at Flo Fabrizio Ice Arena
One of Erie’s most beloved annual events, The Great American Book Sale, will take place Sunday through Friday, June 15–20, at the Flo Fabrizio Ice Arena at the Erie Zoo, 527 West 38th Street.
Event hours are:
•Sunday–Thursday, June 15–19: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
•Friday, June 20: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
With more than 75,000 gently used items, including books, audiobooks on CD, music CDs, DVDs, and puzzles, the sale offers something for every interest.
Genres include fiction, mystery, history, science fiction, travel, sports, religion, home and crafts, self-help, and a significantly expanded children’s section.
Pricing:
•Hardcover & large paperbacks: $2
•Regular paperbacks: $1
•Children’s hardcovers: $1
•Children’s paperbacks: $0.50
Specially priced collectible and high-quality books, including coffee table books, Erie history titles, gardening, and cookbooks, will also be available.
Admission is free and parking is available on-site. Proceeds benefit the Erie County Public Library.
A mini book drive will be held during setup days on Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
