Jamestown Audubon’s Little Explorers Program Dives into the World of Reptiles June 14

The Jamestown Audubon Community Nature Center invites children ages 3 to 8 and their adults to explore the world of reptiles during the upcoming Little Explorers: Reptiles – Scales and Tails program on Saturday, June 14, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Participants will learn about the characteristics and behaviors of reptiles like turtles and snakes through hands-on activities, live animal encounters, and an outdoor hike to search for wild reptiles in their natural habitats.
After a short indoor introduction to reptilian adaptations, families will explore Audubon’s trails, with time for a snack and craft afterward (weather permitting).
The program runs rain or shine, so participants should dress accordingly.
Cost:
•$12 for adults
•$9 for children (ages 3–8) and Nature Center members
Advance registration is required by Thursday, June 12 at AudubonCNC.org/events or by calling (716) 569-2345.
The Audubon Community Nature Center, located at 1600 Riverside Road in Jamestown, offers nearly 600 acres of trails, live animals, and educational exhibits.
Building admission is free every Sunday and daily for SNAP/EBT, cardholders and Nature Center members. Walking the trails at the Audobon is free.
