In a surprising offseason twist, four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers is heading to Pittsburgh, with plans to sign a one-year deal. Fans were stunned, to say the least, calling it a bold and unexpected move. Others were more skeptical, pointing to Rodgers' age—now 41—and his injury history after missing most of the 2023 season.

Rodgers, who has spent 21 seasons in the NFL and over a decade as the face of the Green Bay Packers, had a short, injury-interrupted stint with the New York Jets. Now, he's planning a stunning return to the field—this time in black and gold—eyeing a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

"I think it was pretty pointless. I feel like they could've found somebody better for the amount of money they paid him," Alleyah Jay, a Steelers fan, said.
"Aaron Rodgers—he's like 45 now? He could be my dad, for real," Tony Montana, another Steelers fan, said.

His past medical issues also raise concerns—he suffered a season-ending Achilles tear in the first game of the 2023 season.

"He tore his Achilles a couple years ago, so I feel like he's not going to be up to where he was, but other than that, I feel like it'll be alright," Nick Eckendorn said.

Still, fans remain hopeful that the Steelers will come out on top next season.
"I'm excited for Aaron Rodgers to join the Steelers, excited for the season, and we'll see what he's going to do this year," a fan said.
