Millcreek Township has been recognized for its outstanding communication efforts, earning top honors in the 57th Annual Citizen Communication Contest hosted by the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS).
The township received:
•First place in the Other Publications category
•Tied for first and third place in the Multimedia Communication category
The contest highlights townships that excel in keeping residents informed about local programs and activities.
This year’s competition drew over 140 entries from 34 townships across the state, with submissions judged on clarity, usefulness, visual appeal, and effectiveness in communication.
“These awards reflect Millcreek’s strong commitment to transparent and accessible communication with our community,” said township officials.
PSATS represents 1,454 second-class townships in Pennsylvania, which collectively serve 5.7 million residents and cover 95% of the state’s land area.
The association promotes greater visibility and engagement for township governments at the state and federal levels.
