The Pennsylvania State Association of Boroughs' Councilperson of the Year was chosen and the honor went to someone right here in Erie County.

Wesleyville Borough Councilwoman Regina Julius received the award .

Julius, whose served on council for nine years and lived in the borough for more than 30, said the recognition isn't just for her, it's for the entire borough, including public works and the community that makes the community thrive.
