The Chautauqua County District Attorney’s Office and the Jamestown Police Department will co-host a Community Engagement Night at the Jamestown Tarp Skunks game on Wednesday, June 11th, 6:30 p.m. at Russell E. Diethrick Jr. Park.

The free event is part of a continued partnership funded through New York State’s Gun Involved Violence Elimination (GIVE) grant, which supports efforts to reduce gun violence and strengthen community trust in public safety initiatives.

Attendees can meet representatives from the DA’s Office and JPD, pick up informational materials, and learn more about the GIVE program.

A ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by a member of the partnership, and other law enforcement agencies, including the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Probation Department, are expected to join.

Free tickets are available in advance from the District Attorney’s Office or at the gate on game night.

The event promises to be a family-friendly evening that blends community connection with America’s favorite pastime.

Community members are encouraged to attend, enjoy the game, and show their support for a safer, more unified Jamestown.
