PA Chamber Hosts 2025 Chamber Day at the Capitol, Uniting Business Leaders and Policymakers

The Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, in partnership with the Pennsylvania Association of Chamber Professionals (PACP), welcomed local chamber leaders from across the Commonwealth to Harrisburg for the 2025 Chamber Day at the Capitol.
The annual event, held on June 10, brought together business advocates and state policymakers to advance a pro-growth policy agenda and strengthen Pennsylvania’s business climate.
The day’s agenda featured opening remarks from PA Chamber President and CEO Luke Bernstein, House Speaker Joanna McClinton (D-Philadelphia), and Senate President Pro Tempore Kim Ward (R-Westmoreland).
Attendees engaged in discussions with key legislative leaders, including Senate Appropriations Committee Chair Scott Martin (R-Lancaster) and House Appropriations Committee Chair Jordan Harris (D-Philadelphia), who provided updates on the state budget process.
Panels throughout the day addressed critical business issues such as:
•Energy policy and the future of Pennsylvania’s energy sector
•Permitting and regulatory modernization
•Transportation infrastructure investments
•Demographic trends and workforce challenges
Panelists included representatives from the Marcellus Shale Coalition, Energy Association of Pennsylvania, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Vista Corp., S&B USA Construction, Associated Pennsylvania Constructors, SEPTA, the Independent Fiscal Office, and the Center for Rural Pennsylvania.
“Chamber Day brings together the full force of Pennsylvania’s chamber network to ensure the voices of job creators are heard in the state Capitol,” said PA Chamber President and CEO Luke Bernstein. He emphasized the need for ongoing efforts to modernize permitting, improve tax policy, and foster a competitive environment for private-sector investment.
The event concluded with a joint policy forum hosted by the PA Chamber and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, highlighting shared federal and state priorities to strengthen Pennsylvania’s business environment.
