National Fuel Foundation Awards Grants to Erie and Other Pennsylvania Nonprofits
The National Fuel Gas Company Foundation has awarded a portion of its $245,000 grant package to several nonprofits in Erie and across Pennsylvania, supporting programs in environmental education, veteran's services, and community enrichment.
Notable recipients include:
•Erie’s Black Wall Street
•Martin Luther King Center
•SafeNet
•Our West Bayfront
•United Way of Erie County, supporting Woodrow Wilson Middle School
•Erie Cemetery Association Foundation
•Statewide, additional grants will support:
•United Way of Mercer County, which will build an outdoor environmental education area at Stull Nature Reserve in Hermitage.
•French Creek Valley Conservancy
•Goodell Gardens & Homestead in Edinboro
•Mill Cove Environmental Area in Tioga County
•PTSD Foundation of America, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Scenic Rivers YMCA
The funding aligns with the Foundation’s pillars of Community Enrichment, Environmental Stewardship, and Veterans Services.
