Remote Area Medical (RAM), a nonprofit known for providing free, high-quality pop-up healthcare clinics, is seeking volunteers for an upcoming event in Erie.

The clinic will take place September 13-14 at the Erie Center for Arts and Technology, 650 East Ave, Suite 120.

The organization is calling on licensed medical, dental, and vision professionals, as well as general support volunteers, to assist in delivering care to underserved individuals in the Erie area.

Volunteers are also needed on Friday, September 12 for clinic setup and on Sunday, September 14 for breakdown. Overnight parking attendants and interpreters are also in demand.

Volunteers do not need medical experience to contribute. General support roles include patient check-in, logistics, food service, and more.

RAM clinics provide a wide range of no-cost services including dental cleanings, fillings, extractions, X-rays, eye exams, prescriptions, on-site eyeglasses, women’s health exams, and general medical exams.

All care is offered on a first-come, first-served basis with no ID required.

Those interested in volunteering can register at ramusa.org/volunteer or call 865-579-1530.
