In the wake of the powerful tornado that struck Erie County earlier this week, the Seabury family’s home and farm on Knoyle Road were left in ruins.

Though the family is safe, their property suffered extensive damage — and now the community is stepping up to help.

A volunteer cleanup effort is planned for Thursday, June 12, from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM at 7944 Knoyle Rd., Wattsburg, PA.

Organizers are seeking hardworking volunteers to assist with physically demanding cleanup tasks.

What to bring:

   •Long pants

   •Work boots

   •Gloves

Volunteers must be 15 years or older, and all are encouraged to come, even if only for a few hours.

“The Seaburys have always been there for others — now it’s our turn to be there for them,” organizers said.

Community members are urged to share the call for help and show support during this challenging time.
