The International Bowhunting Organization (IBO) brings the second leg of its prestigious National Triple Crown Championship back to Two Mile Run County Park in Franklin, Venango County, from June 12–15, 2025.

This marks the event’s eighth consecutive year at this scenic northwest Pennsylvania venue.

Participants: 800–900 archers are expected, ranging from professionals and semi-pros to amateurs and youth.

The pro courses are designed for easy viewing, and the public is invited to watch some of the world’s best 3D shooters in action.

National archery vendors and local food trucks will be on-site, offering gear, bows, arrows, and refreshments.

A brand-new course, the “Ultimate Bowhunters Challenge,” debuts this year.

It features 25 targets with shots up to 100 yards in a trail shoot format. Range finders are allowed.

The first round costs $40, and additional fun rounds are $20.

Score cards are drawn for prizes, and the course is set in a previously unused part of the park for a fresh experience.

Archers can warm up on a 20-target practice course at Rainbow Bowmen (1205 Baker Road, Franklin) for $15—open noon to dark Thursday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday.

The event is organized locally by Tom and Julie Prody with support from Rainbow Bowmen, Sligo Sportsman Club, Warren Archery Club, a dedicated team of volunteers, and Two Mile Run County Park staff.

The competition will proceed regardless of weather conditions: “We shoot no matter what,” says organizer Tom Prody.
