President Donald J. Trump will join U.S. Senator Dave McCormick (R-PA) for the inaugural Pennsylvania Energy and Innovation Summit at Carnegie Mellon University on July 15, 2025.

The high-profile event aims to position Pennsylvania at the forefront of America’s energy and AI future.

The Summit will bring together leaders from energy, labor, artificial intelligence, and government to explore how Pennsylvania’s resources and workforce can power the next wave of innovation and economic growth.

“There’s no question the path to American energy dominance runs directly through Pennsylvania,” said Senator McCormick, who chairs the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on the Near East and heads energy policy initiatives. “This Summit will celebrate our strengths and jumpstart new investment, job creation, and national security advancements.”

President Trump’s visit follows Amazon’s recent announcement of a record $20 billion investment in Pennsylvania to build data center campuses, and a $14 billion partnership between U.S. Steel and Nippon Steel to boost domestic steel production and protect thousands of jobs.

Senator McCormick emphasized that Pennsylvania’s vast natural gas reserves, strategic location, and top-tier research institutions make it an ideal hub for energy and tech development.

The Summit is expected to align major energy companies, AI innovators, labor leaders, and investors behind a shared vision of economic growth and American energy leadership.
