Erie Community Invited to 10th Annual My Brother’s Keeper Scholarship Awards Program

The Erie community is invited to attend the 10th Annual My Brother’s Keeper Scholarship Awards Program on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Martin Luther King Jr. Event Center, located at 312 Chestnut Street, Erie, PA 16507.
This year’s program honors the achievements of African American and minority high school graduating seniors, with a total of 64 scholarships being awarded to 22 graduating seniors and 2 continuing college students, amounting to $39,500 in scholarship funds.
Founded in 2016, the My Brother’s Keeper Program in Erie focuses on the third milestone of President Barack Obama’s national initiative: “Graduating from High School Ready for College and Career.” Through the support of community organizations and donors, the program has now awarded $216,000 in scholarships to 150 local students of color across Erie City and County.
