The Pennsylvania Soliders' and Sailors' Home held a special flag day ceremony on Saturday.

Despite the rain, the ceremony continued with a concert from the Erie Philharmonic. It was held inside the chapel at the Soliders' and Sailors' Home.

The event also included the presentation of World War Two Pennsylvania State Senate Recognition medals to six World War Two veterans.

Saturday also marks the 250 birthday of the U.S. Army
