   •Legal without restrictions

   •Often mislabeled as “fireworks” but are allowed for general use

 2. Consumer Fireworks
   •Examples: Roman candles, firecrackers, fountains, rockets, spinners

   •Must be 18 or older to purchase or use

   •Permit not required, but strict usage rules apply:

Illegal To Use If:

   •Without permission on private/public property (streets, parks, lots, etc.)

   •Within 150 feet of a building or vehicle

   •Under the influence of drugs or alcohol

   •From or toward buildings, people, or vehicles

Time Limits:

   •Allowed 10 a.m. – 10 p.m., EXCEPT:

  •July 2, 3, 4, and Dec 31: Until 1:00 a.m. next day

   •If July 4 is midweek (T/W/Th): Also allowed until 1:00 a.m. on nearby Fri/Sat

   •Memorial Day & Labor Day weekends (Sat–Mon): Until 1:00 a.m.
