The third annual LECOM Behavioral Health Breakthrough Awards will be held Wednesday, June 18 at 5 p.m. in Gannon University's Yehl Ballroom.

This year’s honoree is John DiMattio, Erie County’s Director of Human Services, recognized for his impactful leadership and decades of dedication to improving behavioral health services in the region.

LECOM Health Regional President Dr. Danielle Hansen praised DiMattio as “the perfect representation of what it means to be part of a ‘breakthrough,’” citing his collaborative work to make care more accessible and person-centered.

Representatives from over 30 local behavioral health and community organizations are expected to attend the event, which celebrates outstanding contributions and ongoing progress in the field.
