Helen Agresti, a local Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and founder of Be Free Bar, has earned national recognition for her healthy snack bars.

Two of her creations, Blondie Coffee and Blueberry Burst, were named 2025 Good Housekeeping Best Snack Award winners.

The award highlights Be Free Bar's commitment to crafting protein snacks made with real, whole-food ingredients, free from artificial additives.

The bars were inspired by Agresti’s popular no-bake cookie recipe and developed through her years of experience helping clients make better nutritional choices.

“As a small, woman-owned business based right here in Erie, it’s incredibly rewarding to be honored on a national stage,” Agresti said.

Be Free Bars are designed to support active lifestyles, whether for travel, fitness, or busy daily routines, by providing clean, nutrient-dense energy.
