Celich Enterprises, LLC has officially acquired Drafto Corporation, a leader in heavy-duty overhead crane lifting and weighing systems for over 80 years.

Under the new ownership, operations and employment will continue in Cochranton, with plans for strategic growth.

Stanley R. Celich, founder of Celich Enterprises, will now serve as Drafto’s chairman and CEO.

A Pittsburgh native, Celich brings decades of experience across multiple industries and emphasized his commitment to the company’s employees and legacy.

“Drafto’s greatest asset walks through the door every day,” said Celich. “We’re here to grow the company intelligently and responsibly, while preserving the people and practices that have made it great.”

Former CEO Bruce Wesley will remain with the company as president and COO, and the existing leadership team will stay in place.

Celich said the acquisition will enable Drafto to expand into new markets, geographies, and products, while maintaining its hallmark custom solutions and service standards.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
