PA Game Commission Announces 2025-26 Hunting Licenses to go on Sale June 23
Licenses will go on sale Monday, June 23, 2025. License Year: July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026
Antlerless Deer Licenses:
•Residents: Guaranteed an antlerless license for any Wildlife Management Unit (WMU) if purchased by 7 a.m., Monday, July 14.
•Nonresidents: Can purchase remaining antlerless licenses starting 8 a.m., July 14; first come, first served.
•Second Round: Begins July 28 at 8 a.m. (residents and nonresidents may buy a second license for any WMU with availability).
•Third Round: Begins August 11 at 8 a.m.; DMAP permits also go on sale.
•Fourth Round: Begins August 25 at 8 a.m.; additional licenses available where supply remains.
License Limits
•Most WMUs: Up to 6 unfilled antlerless licenses at a time.
•WMUs 5C & 5D: Up to 15 unfilled licenses at a time.
How to Buy
•Purchase online at HuntFish.PA.gov or at any license-issuing agent.
•Paper licenses and tags are mailed if bought online.
Costs
•Resident adult hunting license: $20.97
•Nonresident adult hunting license: $101.97
•Resident antlerless license: $6.97
•Nonresident antlerless license: $26.97
Account Access
•Use your driver’s license, passport card, or Customer Identification (CID) number to access your account.
•Social Security numbers are no longer accepted for look-up.
DMAP Permits
•Go on sale August 11 at 8 a.m.
•Allow antlerless deer hunting on specific properties; limits vary by property.
Senior Lifetime License Holders
•Still need to obtain new harvest tags and certain permits each year.
