Pennsylvania State Police at Girard are investigating a series of thefts from motor vehicles that occurred overnight from June 15 to June 16, 2025, throughout Girard and Conneaut Townships in Erie County.

Unknown suspects entered multiple unlocked vehicles, stealing items such as cash, credit cards, electronics, and tools.

One stolen credit card was later used in Ashtabula, Ohio, where surveillance footage captured an image of the suspect: a white, non-Hispanic male with a buzz cut, full-sleeve tattoos on both arms, chest tattoos, and glasses.

State Police remind residents to lock their vehicles, remove valuables, and remain vigilant for suspicious activity.
