State Rep. Ryan Bizzarro will host a Property Tax/Rent Rebate (PTRR) Program open house on Monday, June 23, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at his district office in Peninsula Plaza, 1101 Peninsula Drive, Erie.

The event will help eligible residents file new rebate applications or check the status of existing ones.

Bizzarro’s staff will be on hand to provide assistance and answer questions.

Eligible residents include:

   •Pennsylvanians 65 and older

   •Widows or widowers age 50 and older

   •Individuals with disabilities age 18 and older

   •Rebates range from $380 to $1,000, and the program is funded by the PA Lottery and gaming revenues. The application deadline has been extended to December 31, 2025.

   •Residents planning to file should bring:

   •Proof of age and income

   •Documentation of property taxes or rent paid

To check rebate status, attendees should provide their birthdate and Social Security number.
