Summer camp is officially underway at Custaloga Town Scout Reservation (CTSR), the French Creek Council’s home camp in Carlton, PA. More than 600 youth campers from Pennsylvania, New York, and Ohio will participate in this year’s programs.

Running from mid-June through early August, the camp offers classic Scout experiences like swimming, First Aid, knot tying, and shooting sports, while also helping youth develop lifelong friendships, confidence, and independence.

“Summer camp is my favorite time of the year,” said Justin Dye, Camp Director. “Our 46 staff members and numerous volunteers work hard all year to make these six weeks the best of our scouts’ lives.”

Camp preparation, including staff training, maintenance, and programming, is a year-round effort at CTSR, which is located at 7 Boy Scout Lane, Carlton, PA.
