Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) has introduced new legislation aimed at strengthening public trust and rooting out corruption in federal government.

The “No Corporate Crooks Act” would prohibit corporate executives convicted of financial crimes from serving in the Executive Branch, including federal agencies and White House offices.

The legislation is part of the broader “End Corruption Now” package, which includes a series of ethics reform bills introduced by Democratic reformers in Congress.

The bills collectively aim to curb influence-peddling, block conflicts of interest, and ban Members of Congress from stock trading and lobbying roles.

“We must root out corruption and stop corporate criminals from using government access for personal gain,” said Deluzio. “Someone convicted of bribery, fraud, or insider trading has no place near the levers of power in the executive branch.”
