A local mother got some extra pampering on Saturday. thanks to Erie City Moms and Beauty Bar Salon.

This event was part of the non-profits, second annual "Mother's Making History Celebration."

Every year, people can nominate an extraordinary mother figure for a chance for them to win a spa day.

The winner was chosen and on Saturday and was treated to some pampering at the Beauty Bar and Salon on West 26th Street.

The person who nominated the special mother figure was also treated to some pampering too.
