A search will continue Sunday morning after reports of a missing swimmer from the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office.

They say yesterday, around 4:40 p.m. they received a 911 call reporting a missing male swimmer on Chautauqua Lake near the Chautauqua Institution.

The Chautauqua County Water Emergency Team, Marine Patrol along with several fire departments responded to the area and began a search.

The swimmer was not located, and crews paused the efforts due to darkness.
