The City of Dunkirk’s popular Music on the Pier Summer Concert Series continues Thursday, June 26 with Classic Rock Night featuring live performances from local favorites Backlog and headliner Grand Illusion – The Music of Styx.

The free event kicks off at 6 p.m. with Backlog, a Jamestown and Warren based trio known for their high-energy, crowd-pleasing rock covers.

At 7:15 p.m., Grand Illusion takes the stage with a powerful tribute to Styx, delivering arena-quality performances that have wowed audiences across the U.S. and Canada since the 1990s.

Guests are encouraged to bring a chair and enjoy the music, food trucks, local vendors, and the city’s beverage tent. Nearby businesses along the Dunkirk Boardwalk Marketplace will also be open.

This season’s concerts begin a half-hour later than in previous years to better fit community schedules.

Rescheduled: Last week’s rainout Canadian Night is now set for Thursday, August 28 with We Speak Canadian and Canada Rocks USA.
