Meet Madison: Art, sparkles, and a big heart full of hope
Madison is a 10-year-old girl with a beautiful smile and a heart that shines just as bright.
She recently stopped by our TV station for a special day filled with fun, creativity, and a little bit of magic.
After a quick tour of the studio, fun arrived on four wheels when Connie's facepainting mobile rolled up, with a pop-up party of color and glitter.
Madison, who loves everything art — from painting to drawing — was right at home.
She’s also a huge fan of the show "Bluey," which made our matching Bluey glitter tattoos from local artist Connie Nelson even more special.
From face paint to hair feathers, laughter to gifts, Madison’s joy was contagious. “We’re going to sparkle everywhere we go,” we joked.
Alyssa Hile, a child welfare professional who works closely with Madison, shared a little more about what makes her shine: She’s extremely funny. She loves art, Bluey, unicorns, and she loves to make animal noises.
What Madison needs now is a family. A family who will see her for who she is — a sweet, creative, funny child — and help her grow into all she can be. She thrives with one-on-one attention and would blossom in a home full of patience, love, and support.
“She needs a family able to provide one-on-one attention,” said Hile. “She thrives in a family setting and needs a community to help her grow and develop.”
Our time together was filled with laughter, color, and simple joy.
Madison deserves more days like this — and a forever family to share them with.
