The Community Blood Bank is teaming up with 94.7 BOB-FM, Rebich Investments, and Erie County Care Management for an all-day event Friday to help save lives in Erie.

“Bob-a-thon for Blood” runs from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 27, with a 12-hour radiothon, live remote broadcasts, and three donation locations offering prizes and giveaways for donors.

The highlight of the day will be a live broadcast from the Boston Store downtown, where walk-in donors can give blood and take part in hourly raffles and incentives, from SeaWolves tickets to gas cards, Waldameer passes, and exclusive event T-shirts.

“Every blood and financial donation made during Bob-a-thon goes directly to supporting patients in our local hospitals,” said Dee Rosenthal, Executive Director of the Community Blood Bank. “Summer is always a difficult time to maintain blood supply, and this community-driven event is essential to keeping our hospitals stocked
