Veterans and their families are invited to connect with local employers and support services at the upcoming “2025 Hire A Veteran Day Career & Resource Fair,” hosted by PA CareerLink Erie County.

The event will be held on Wednesday, July 23, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at VFW Post 470, located at 1808 W. 26th Street, Erie, PA 16508.

VFW membership is not required to attend.

The fair will feature over 20 employers and support agencies, many of which will be hiring on site.

PA CareerLink staff will be available to offer resume assistance, interview tips, job search guidance, and help creating a free PA CareerLink account.

Staff will also provide information on the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and upcoming job readiness workshops.

Veterans and their spouses will have the opportunity to:

   •Explore job openings across multiple industries

   •Learn about education and skill development resources

   •Receive assistance with unemployment claims

   •Connect with organizations focused on supporting veterans
