A new initiative in the City of Erie is helping homeowners make much needed repairs with the support of the Love Your Block program.

The city is offering grants to residents in select neighborhoods, including Snoops, Central City, and Buffalo Road.

The goal is to empower homeowners to complete essential repairs that improve both safety and quality of life.

Through the program, volunteers and team members have already helped residents save more than 183 thousand dollars in repair costs.

By focusing on small scale improvements that make a big impact, the effort aims to strengthen neighborhoods and support long term community revitalization.
