Pennsylvania State Police in Warren County are investigating a hit and run crash involving a red motorized bicycle that occurred Monday morning along U.S. Route 6.

Troopers say the incident happened around 7:35 a.m. near Zimmerman Hill Road in Mead Township.

An unknown vehicle, traveling east on Route 6 (Crescent Park Extension), struck the motorized bicycle and then fled the scene in an unknown direction.

No vehicle description has been provided. Authorities are asking for the public’s help.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the red motorized bicycle before or after the incident is urged to contact the Warren barracks at 717-728-3600.

Investigators are also asking drivers who traveled the area around that time to check their dash cam footage for any potential clues.
