The Erie Cancer Wellness Center (ECWC), sponsored by The Plastek Group and Erie Bank, will launch its new Summer Series on Thursday, July 10, with a full day of free outdoor cancer wellness programming from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Rotary Pavilion in Presque Isle State Park.

The event will feature a variety of wellness activities for individuals impacted by cancer, including yoga, art therapy, grief support, and more, all set in the calming beauty of nature.

The kickoff also celebrates the launch of the ECWC’s new men’s programming with a special fishing excursion on the bay earlier that morning.

The Summer Series aims to bring cancer wellness resources outside the center and into the community, with future events to include Meditation Walks, Kidding Around Yoga, and additional programs throughout the season.

ECWC is also welcoming the public to explore its offerings during “Welcome Wednesdays” in July, held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the center, located at 2212 West 15th Street, Unit 104, Erie, PA 16505. Visitors can tour the space, learn about available services, and enjoy snacks and giveaways.
