U.S. Senator Dave McCormick (R-PA) is praising the Senate’s passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, calling it a major win for Pennsylvania families and workers.

In a statement released Monday, McCormick said the legislation would deliver “continued tax relief” and block what he called “the largest tax increase in American history.”

“This bill delivers on promises made, to secure the border, boost national defense, unleash American energy, and reduce costs for consumers,” McCormick said.

McCormick acknowledged the bill isn’t perfect but said it marks “a positive step forward” on key priorities like law enforcement funding, energy production, and economic relief.

The legislation now moves to the House of Representatives for consideration.
