A $1.55 million federally funded project to repair the bridge carrying Lottsville Niobe Road (Route 4015) over Mill Creek in Freehold Township, Warren County is scheduled to begin July 7, 2025, weather permitting.

The work will focus on replacing the bridge’s superstructure, including new beams, barriers, and deck.

Additional upgrades include paving on both approaches, improved drainage, and shoulder backup.

The bridge, located between Stillwater Road and Huntley Road, was built in 1987 and is currently classified as being in poor condition. It serves an average of 200 vehicles daily.

A detour using Stillwater Road and Huntley Road will be in effect for approximately four months while the bridge is closed for construction.

The new bridge is expected to open by late October 2025.

Horizon Construction of Seneca, PA is the contractor for the project, which will be fully funded through federal transportation dollars.
