Warren, PA - Warren County marked its 77th Annual Fourth of July Parade with one of the area's largest events —lasting more than two hours and featuring over 100 entries.

Participants traveled from Erie, Pittsburgh, Ohio, and beyond to take part in the celebration. Floats, classic cars, and competitive drum and bugle corps made their way down Pennsylvania Avenue to crowds gathered along the route.

“It’s something you don’t want to miss,” said spectator, Marybeth Whiting. “There are so many people who come out to celebrate, it's a wonderful tradition.”

Chase Foust, a parade participant from Starbrick VFD, commented, "It's a good thing for our community and it's really nice out."

In addition to the parade itself, several vendors set up along the street. The Saint Joseph Catholic Youth Group grilled sausages and hot dogs for paradegoers, helping raise funds while feeding the crowd.

“We are here raising funds for our youth group, selling food for the parade,” explained Alice Pearson, youth group member.

Festivities will continue at Betts Park through Saturday, July 5th. Events include food trucks, craft vendors, face painting, Warren’s Got Talent, and the Cutest Baby Contest.

A Freedom 5K and kids’ fun run hosted by Wicked Warren is also set for the morning of 5th, raising funds for NF2 genetic research.

The celebration will wrap up with live music and a "Peak Pyro" fireworks display by Kellner’s Fireworks, scheduled for 10:00PM Saturday night.
