On Sunday evening, community members held a remembrance event for Marchello Woodard outside of the Probation and Parole Board office in downtown Erie.

Signs filled the parking lot with sayings like, "Long Live Chello," "Justice for Chello" and "No Justice, No Peace."

The event was put together by Jerry Roberts, Woodard's cousin, who said he wants people to remember that to him and his community Marchello Woodard meant change.

Roberts also said that looking ahead, the most important thing that he and the community wants is for is justice to be served.
