Presque Isle State Park Welcomed Over 110,000 Visitors During Fourth of July Weekend

Presque Isle State Park saw a surge of summer activity over the Independence Day weekend, with more than 110,000 visitors enjoying the park’s beaches, trails, and scenic lakefront during the long weekend.
According to park officials, the estimated breakdown of attendance was:
•Friday, July 4: 36,754 visitors
•Saturday, July 5: 39,179 visitors
•Sunday, July 6: 34,066 visitors
From sunbathing on the sand to biking along the 13.5-mile trail, visitors packed the park for classic Fourth of July fun.
With clear weather and a full schedule of activities across Erie, the weekend marked one of the busiest stretches of the summer so far.
