AHN Saint Vincent is inviting the community to join in celebrating a major milestone this weekend. The hospital will host “150FEST,” a free community carnival, on Saturday, July 12 from noon to 4 p.m. on the hospital grounds.

The event is part of the hospital’s year-long observance of its 150th anniversary, honoring its legacy of care and service in the Erie region.

The family-friendly celebration will feature food trucks, craft vendors, live music from Happi Radio, and a wide range of kids’ activities, including:

   •A petting zoo

   •Face painting and temporary tattoos

•Bubble wands, popcorn, and snow cones

•A bounce house and obstacle course

•Appearances by fan-favorite characters Bluey, Bingo, and Stitch

•Attendees will also have the chance to leave their handprint on a commemorative banner and contribute to a time capsule that will be sealed and opened in 2050.

“Everyone at AHN Saint Vincent is so excited to invite Erie families to be a part of our 150th anniversary celebration, because they are the reason we exist,” said Dr. Chris Clark, President of AHN Saint Vincent. “We hope they will join us to celebrate a century and a half of commitment, compassion, and quality care in our community.”

Free parking for the event will be available at several nearby lots, including:

•The AHN Cancer Center lot (26th and Myrtle)

•The Chest Diseases lot (26th and Sassafras)

•A lot at 24th and Sassafras

The event is open to all and designed to bring together hospital staff, neighbors, and the broader Erie community for a day of fun, gratitude, and connection.
