For the third year, the American Legion Post out in Wesleyville played a friendly wiffle ball game against first responders.


The game took place at the Wesleyville fields.

Erie News Now's Mike Ruzzi threw out the first pitch.

The game used to take place in the spring, but organizers decided to move it to the summer so more families could participate.

American legion members say this game always brings out a little competition with both teams.


All the proceeds from Saturday's event benefits the first responders.
