Parts of a home were left heavily damaged after a fire on Sunday afternoon.

Calls for a house fire on Neuberger Road in McKean came in just before noon on Sunday.

According to fire officials, a fire started in the shed and spread to the garage and parts of the attic. 

The owners were home at the time, but managed to get out safely. 

Several crews responded to the put out the flames including West Ridge, Fairview, Kuhl Hose, Perry Hi-Way, and McKean.

They had the fire put out in under an hour.

A few firefighters were checked out as a precaution due to the heat.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
