The Erie County Viking Festival wrapped up on Sunday in Union City.

This was the first year this event came to Erie.

Ironstone Meadery and Whiteraven Gifts and Specialties hosted the event.

This three-day festival featured vendors, music from Celtic bands, a black smith demonstration, the tradition of the lighting of fire, the market square and food and drinks.

According to organizers, there was something for everyone.

Organizers said they were pleased with how the first year went and already have plans for next year.
